A great introduction for anyone new to knitting or just wanting to refresh the basics. We’ll look at different yarns and what they’re best suited to. You’ll learn how to cast on, cast off, and make a knitted (plain) and purl stitch – the foundation for everything that follows in your knitting journey!
In our second class, you’ll start your first project – a simple pair of cosy mitts. Worked flat and finished with a sewn seam, they’re the perfect way to put your new skills into practice. You’ll leave with something warm for winter and the start of a great new hobby.
You will need to bring needles and yarn.
